We offer professional Disc Jockey/MC services as well as sound, lighting, big screen video, and lasers. As a new school year begins, we stand by our 15 plus years of taking care of clients just like you. The youth market and school systems offer some unique challenges.
The urban/rap format crossing into the mainstream makes for
a tighter focus towards our already clean radio edited music
program.
We tend to err on the side of caution
playing a somewhat conservative program.
At most events we will start out by playing a little of everything
to see how your students react and go from there. We plan the
format of your school together so the students can have their
favorite songs and your principal doesn't get heated phone calls
from angry parents on Monday morning. We can also play a mix
of Latin format if you so choose.
Some of the schools we work with started out being very temperamental. They had a reputation of being hard to please and their history of attendance was not so good. It was maybe 1/8 of the school's population. Another factor was the school's shrinking budget. With no money coming in, there was no money to spend on bigger shows in order to bring the attendance numbers up. We worked with them throughout the year and by the end of the school year we had their attendance up to 2/3.
Higher Level Sound was started to do a better job servicing clients. We watched companies take advantage of clients. We saw them charging clients astronomical amounts for services that cost them little. They would tell clients one thing and deliver another. They would constantly make excuses for coming up short. They would send a "Disc Jockey" with less than 10 shows worth of experience to do a show by themselves. The horror stories go on and on.
